  6. EVPaths is a linkable library containing routines for easy
  7. handling of paths for TeX's related programs.
  8. Sources and some examples are also included.
  9.  
  10. Here follows some of the main features of EVPaths:
  11.  
  12.  - No limits to the length of the environment variables used to
  13.    indicate a path.
  14.  
  15.  - Recursively path searching.
  16.  
  17.  - Recursively environment variables searching.
  18.  
  19.  - Commas, semicolons, spaces, tabs, LFs, FFs recognized as path separa-
  20.    tors.
  21.  
  22.  - Support for path name containing spaces, commas and semicolons.
  23.  
  24.  - Support of the Amiga path notation as well part of the Unix notation.
  25.  
  26.  - Compatibility with any OS from 1.3 to 3.1.
  27.  
  28.  - Linkable with programs which don't make use of any C startup code.
